In my experience a bent hanger is the by far most common maintnence issue. This book if you have more than a dollar bike will not be up to date with most your components. This is a good book to have if you like DIY stuff but otherwise if there's a cheap shop near you have them look at it exception, fixing tires.

Jun 15, Rami rated it really liked it. It's a much more photo and illustration focused guides, so visual learners will like this one. There's even a? I found this book too brief. It covers very well bicycle parts and their construction, but doesn't provide many practical "tips and tricks" which you may need for your repair. I guess, it tries to squeeze too much into the small volume. With respect to photographs and design it is beautifully done!

Well, its not easy to fix ur bike for the first time, but the book is a good reference to know how u can do it, and how its work. I hope I wont need to fix my bike soon. Good basic start to understanding the form of the bike. Nice, photo-intensive look at the steps necessary to keep up a bicycle.
